Travel Information: NSF NEON Workshop: Topographic, geomorphic, and vegetation analysis with lidar

Travel Arrangements
Dates: September 28-30, 2016
Hours: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm September 28, 29, 30
Location: City Center Plaza, Boise State University Computer Science / Clearwater Building, 777 West Main St, Suite 240, Boise, Idaho

Course will begin at 8:30 am September 28 and end at 4:00 pm September 30. Please keep this in mind when making your reservations for transportation.

Transportation
Attendees must make own transportation arrangements to/from Boise. Transportation is not covered by the workshop. The hotel can be contacted for airport transportation. Uber is also an option (~$10-15 one way).

Transportation to/from hotel and workshop location:
SpringHill shuttle will drop off and pick up students from the City Center Plaza, Boise State University Computer Science / Clearwater Building.
Morning Shuttle Departure from SpringHill Suites: 8:00AM
Evening Shuttle Departure from Boise State / Clearwater Building: 4:30PM

Note: Boise Green Bikes has several locations where bikes can be rented.

Hotel
Once you are accepted, you will be booked at the Springhill Suites, Parkcenter, in Boise for 3 nights, checking in September 27 and checking out September 30. Hotel booking and cost will be covered by the workshop. The hotel provides a breakfast buffet (included in the booking).

Meals
Breakfast is included with hotel. Lunch will be on your own. We will host two social evenings (heavy appetizers).
